Saba, also known as “cooked must”, is obtained from the slow cooking of fine Trebbiano and Lambrusco grape musts.
It is an excellent natural sweetener, to be used as a substitute for sugar and honey or to enrich culinary preparations with a touch of refinement. Its dense and syrupy consistency makes it perfect to pair with mature cheeses, roast meats, fruit salads, yogurt, desserts and cocktails.
